I had given evidence a dozen times and still walked out of cross-examination rattled. This training changed how I prepare entirely.

The Enhancing Expertise conference with McDermott KC Law was a fantastic conference and full of valuable insights for both seasoned experts and ones new to the world of acting as an expert witness. Gerard and Michelle, as were all the speakers, were engaging and genuinely interested in practically supporting all the experts in attendance to improve their ability to deliver their expert opinions to the court, to the standards expected. An added bonus was the high-quality materials that were provided to all attendees, including a really good practical guide to being an expert witness that we could take away and reflect on. More days like these please!

This gave me a much clearer sense of what the court actually expects from expert evidence, not just the theory, but how to present it under real scrutiny. I would recommend it to any expert, however experienced.

Practical, well-structured and directly relevant to the reports I write every week. The mock cross-examination session alone was worth attending for.
